Working Group on Remote Sensing and UAV
The Working Group (WG) was established at the 41st ICP Forests Task‑Force meeting in Dresden to foster a regular exchange of methods and developments for airborne forest assessments. Its purpose is to (i) discuss the integration of satellite, UAV, and LiDAR data with ICP Forests measurements, (ii) develop common protocols, and (iii) identify needs and gaps for future monitoring programmes.
The WG will convene webinars and will coordinate joint activities.
